Sales Associate/Optician (FT) | Optometry | South Ames

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust & dispense prescription lenses and frames.
• Measures and fits all eye wear.
• Takes measurement and evaluates patients for assistance in lens design.
• Fills out paperwork to insurance.
• Completes daily sales and receipts.
• Prepares bank deposits, working with MD's and OD's to ensure that patients receive proper eye wear in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET Certification.
• ABO certified preferred, not required.
• Two years of optical industry experience preferred, but not required.
• On-the-job training available.
