About the role

This position is based in our Ithaca, NY store (Store 00301) and is available as a regular part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes product engagement and builds brand relationships
• Assist the management team in driving store business
• Serve multiple customers simultaneously while multitasking or handling projects
• Stay informed about fashion trends and new arrivals, including product knowledge on fit, color, and style
• Use fashion expertise to create outfits and suggest items tailored to customer needs
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships to support a productive environment
• Proactively communicate store information, brand initiatives, and discrepancies to management
• Achieve sales and service metrics, including Talbots Classic Awards
• Maximize individual performance through learning opportunities, coaching, and feedback
• Support operational excellence, including inventory management, order fulfillment, recalls, recovery, replenishment, and re-ticketing
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs
• Lead or supervise others, including opening or closing the store
• Understand customer needs and wants through intentional conversation

Pay

$16.50 - $20.65 hourly (USD)
