Duties

• Stocking
• Cleaning
• Ragging out goods
• Operating the cash register
• Preparing daily paperwork

Customer Relations

Maintain good customer relations. Provide prompt, courteous assistance to all customers.

Phone Operations

Answer the telephone in a courteous fashion and direct callers to appropriate individual/department.

Store Appearance

Ensure the store’s appearance is clean and orderly.

Janitorial Duties

• Cleaning windows
• Vacuuming
• Dusting
• Sweeping

Other Duties

Responsible for janitorial duties such as cleaning windows, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, etc. as assigned by management. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Qualifications

• Must be able to handle cash, make change and operate the cash register.
• Follow instructions without direct supervision.
• Merchandise knowledge preferred.
• Good customer rapport.
• Strong ability to utilize high levels of time management and multitasking.
• Previous retail experience a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, and/or pull objects.
• Ability to reach overhead.
• Ability to operate telephone.
• Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds non-continuously.
• Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal information.
