Sales Associate - Investor
About the role
We are looking to add a high-potential Sales Associate to our Investor Sales team to help drive new business growth within the investment community.
This is a new business–focused (hunting) role with uncapped earning potential. Please note that this is a 100% hunting role!
This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC or Austin, TX. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue – Close deals and expand YipitData’s presence in the investment field.
- Build Relationships – Cultivate trust with senior stakeholders and deliver value.
- Collaborate & Impact – Partner across teams to ensure client success and drive results.
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role (enterprise or subscription sales is a plus) actively closing business
- You are highly motivated to build a career in enterprise sales within financial services
- You are comfortable with outbound prospecting and energized by hunting for new opportunities
- You are intellectually curious and excited about data, investing, and financial markets
- You are resilient and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including thoughtful questioning
- You are a team player who values collective success as much as individual achievement
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- You have a passion for data, investing, and financial markets
- You are able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay
The annual on-target earnings for this position are anticipated to be $78,000 base salary plus up to $110,000 in commission per year. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
