Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Sporting Goods - Williston, ND

About the role

The Sales Associate assists customers throughout the retail store, providing excellent customer service. Duties include greeting customers, handling cash transactions, answering product-related questions, and performing general housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they shop in the retail store
• Price store merchandise and make price changes as requested
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves as requested
• Aid in receiving freight and organizing incoming products
• Assist in cycle counts
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately
• Handle customer transactions using KCX cash register system
• Ensure accurate cash handling
• Manage customer returns
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age to comply with federal regulations regarding the sale of firearms
• Strong knowledge of firearms and their sales

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds
• Long periods of standing
• Frequent bending and twisting
