Sales Associate – Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, maintains an organized and attractive sales floor, and ethically processes transactions at the cash register. The Sales Team is primarily responsible for delivering the most enjoyable thrift shopping experience in Nashville, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide customers an exceptional shopping experience with the goal of driving sales and customer satisfaction.
- Become knowledgeable in the merchandise selection and frequently asked questions regarding product selection.
- Provide customers with information related to merchandise, promotions, policies, and donations.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions at the register and adhere to standard cash handling procedures.
- Elevate customer requests to store management.
- Cooking room activities, delivering excellent customer service and preventing theft.
- Proactively identify risks and threats to safety and security.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: High School diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: 1-3 years of retail/customer service preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to work, stand and walk for 2 hours at a time.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to bend, lift or climb.
- Occasionally required to lift light up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
