Sales Associate - Full-time

About the role

The Archway is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program, offering the opportunity to work alongside domestic violence victims to keep them safe and hold offenders accountable. We are seeking a Full-Time Store Associate for our resale store, Berry Good Buys, to ensure smooth operations—from the shopping experience to receiving donations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide supreme customer service in all interactions with customers, clients, and donors.
• Complete point-of-sale transactions.
• Move product from the donation area to the sales floor.
• Price and organize donations in preparation for sale.
• Manage the donation drop-off area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1–3 years’ retail experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Honest, trustworthy, and hardworking with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Reliable and punctual; reliable transportation to and from work.
• Sensitivity to the issue of domestic violence.
• Strong and effective customer service skills, maintaining a calm and helpful demeanor during frustrating situations.
