Nell Hill's is a locally owned, one-of-a-kind home décor and furnishings destination. Our Briarcliff store is a beautifully curated, ever-changing space filled with inspiring furniture, accessories, florals, and design. Customers don't just shop here, they come to be inspired.

We're not looking for salespeople. The right person for this role genuinely loves connecting with others, lights up in a space, and finds joy in helping someone fall in love with their home. We're looking for a warm, enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our floor team at Briarcliff. This is a relationship-first, guest-facing role where you'll get to build genuine connections with our guests, understand what they love, and help them find pieces that feel like home.

Weekends are a required part of this role. Our busiest, most energetic days on the floor are where genuine connections happen most often. We are looking for team members who are genuinely joyful and enthusiastic. If you are warm, curious, and interested in people and passionate about beautiful spaces, home décor, or design and lifts the energy of those around you, we would love to have you on our team.

Responsibilities

Building Relationships & Serving Guests

• Welcome every guest with authentic enthusiasm
• Take the time to get to know guests, understand their space, and what they're drawn to
• Offer thoughtful product knowledge and design inspiration that helps guests see possibilities
• Build real, lasting connections with the repeat customers who love this store as much as you will
• Communicate current promotions, new arrivals, and upcoming events in a natural, conversational way
• Process purchases and returns accurately and with care
• Register experience is a key part of this role as comfort at the registers improves the guest experience

Keeping the Store Beautiful

• Help maintain the stunning, ever-changing displays that make Nell Hill's a destination
• Restock merchandise, support floor moves, and assist with visual updates as directed
• Assist with tagging, product placement, and inventory labeling as needed

Supporting the Team

• Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled
• Communicate guest needs, product feedback, and opportunities to store leadership
• Support store events, seasonal setups, and day-to-day operations
• Show up for your teammates the same way you show up for guests

Schedule

Store Hours: Monday–Saturday 10AM–6PM | Sunday 12PM–5PM

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
• Adaptable to a lively retail environment with frequent guest interaction
