About the role
The Companion Sales Associate position is a hybrid role designed for direct assistance to Sales Territory Managers, learning Companion products, services, and sales processes. This role acts as a utility player, stepping in for absent Sales Territory Managers and filling open positions. It's a foundational step towards becoming a Sales Territory Manager, with relocation to territories being contingent upon managerial approval.
Responsibilities
- Understand and apply the Consultative Sales Approach
- Learn and retain information, develop sales skills, and take on increased responsibilities as needed
- Assist in demonstrations of products to veterinarians and staff
- Travel up to 1 week at a time across the U.S. as needed
- Willingness to relocate when a territory becomes available
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Some sales experience or equivalent education preferred
- Leverage resources efficiently, communicate effectively, and build constructive relationships
- Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage conflicting priorities
- Build high-performing teams and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Travel up to 50% of the time, with overnight stays required
