Sales Associate - Entry Level

About the role

The Sales Associate position is available to join the Sales Associate team onsite in Newport Beach, CA. This role offers the opportunity to start a career in the Financial Services industry at a Fortune 500 company with over 150 years of history.

Responsibilities

• Aid advisors by supporting the Wholesaling Teams
• Make outbound prospecting/cross-selling, campaign, and appointment calls to advisors
• Provide overall support to the department interns
• Shadow Internal Wholesalers to understand the selling process

Requirements

Must be willing and able to obtain FINRA Securities Industry Essentials exam (SIE), Series 6/7, and Series 63 license within 90 days of starting the position.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build relationships over the phone
• Ability to prospect for leads and follow up on them
• Strong organizational skills

Qualifications

Interest in annuity and mutual funds is preferred, along with a college degree.

Pay

The base hourly pay for this role is $26.50 for level I and $30.50 for level II (with current SIE).
