Sales Associate eCommerce - AutoNation Chevrolet Gulf Freeway

About the role

The e-Commerce Sales Associate interacts with hundreds of customers—online, over the phone, and in person—to help guide their vehicle purchase in our no-haggle sales environment. You will respond to leads in a timely fashion, answer questions, provide information, and help guide customers effectively from phone and internet contact to an in-store experience while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

With your outstanding communication and listening skills, you’ll help customers select their perfect vehicle, negotiate terms to ensure payment options meet their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations, and close the deal. You will also follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and transition customers to the Service department to support their ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer leads promptly via online, phone, and in-person interactions.
• Guide customers through the vehicle purchase process in a no-haggle sales environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service before and after purchase to drive loyalty.
• Assist customers in selecting vehicles and negotiating terms that fit their needs.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and transition them to the Service department.
• Set and achieve targeted sales goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Drive to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience, retail preferred.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.
