Sales Associate - DeKalb Retail Store

About the role

We are currently seeking a Retail Team Member for our DeKalb Retail Store. As part of the Fannie May Retail team, you will play a crucial role in generating sales and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales by effectively communicating with customers and promoting products
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
• Operate the cash register and perform various operational tasks as directed by the store manager
• Engage with the community and foster a positive in-store experience
• Enjoy working with customers and having a passion for chocolate

Requirements

• Desire to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a retail setting is preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $15 to $17.43 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
