Sales Associate - DeKalb Retail Store
About the role
We are currently seeking a Retail Team Member for our DeKalb Retail Store. As part of the Fannie May Retail team, you will play a crucial role in generating sales and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Generate sales by effectively communicating with customers and promoting products
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly
- Operate the cash register and perform various operational tasks as directed by the store manager
- Engage with the community and foster a positive in-store experience
- Enjoy working with customers and having a passion for chocolate
Requirements
- Desire to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a retail setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $15 to $17.43 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
