Sales Associate/Customer Service - Pump & Pantry

Your browser does not support the video tag. The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers in a professional, quick and courteous manner, while complying with all food handling guidelines. Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner.
• Understands all functions of the POS system.
• Makes change properly.
• Is proficient in opening and closing a shift, including completing all paperwork.
• Uses credit card equipment.
• Processes all sales quickly and accurately.
• Safeguards stock levels and ensures all items are properly stocked and priced correctly.
• Reads and follows directions.
• Checks in vendor delivery.
• Aids in ordering.
• Understands fuel inventory reports.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and performs simple maintenance.
• Keeps store neat and clean, both inside and out.
• Recognizes and reports problems to management.
• Projects a positive attitude.
• Ensures all food operations and product handling/storage comply with state/federal regulations.
• Ensures a clean and healthy food service environment for customers and associates by following proper cooking procedures and temperature holding temps.
• Ensures that all food products are stored properly, rotated, and coded with expiration dates.
• Performs temperature testing on food to ensure proper food safety and quality control.
• Provides friendly and competent customer service.
• Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled with regular and consistent attendance.
