About the role

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor at Cosmoprof is responsible for creating a memorable shopping experience for customers. This role focuses on one primary objective: helping customers navigate their beauty journey through recommendations of products, promotions, and the Sally Beauty Loyalty program.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products to enhance the shopping experience.
• Inform customers about current promotions and upcoming events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues promptly.
• Demonstrate the Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
• Exposure to irritant chemicals.
