About the role

As a Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor, your primary objective is creating a memorable shopping experience. Whether assisting with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, or nails, you’ll serve as the advisor on our customer’s beauty journey. Sally Beauty provides extensive knowledge and training—you bring your passion and personality.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions

The position requires physical exertion, including:

• Long periods of standing and walking.
• Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
• Occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
