About the role

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers. This includes recommending additional and complimentary products, informing customers of current promotions and events, setting up advertising displays, arranging merchandise, and ensuring customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program. The role also involves completing transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a professional store environment, and communicating inventory issues.

Responsibilities

• Create relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products to enhance the shopping experience.
• Inform customers about current promotions and upcoming events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

• Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
• Exposure to irritant chemicals.
