Sales Associate (Chicago)

Position Summary

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with customers in an assigned territory. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills and a solid understanding of the sales process to achieve both short- and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to maintain relationships and grow business
• Sell company products and provide high-level customer service
• Understand and execute sales plans, pricing, and product promotions
• Collaborate with internal teams (accounting, logistics, operations) to support sales goals
• Report sales activities and market feedback regularly
• Assist with inventory counts and other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Japanese / English bilingual required
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the food trading industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and conversation skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
• Willingness to travel to customer locations

Pay

BASE SALARY USD48,00-65,000 Base (DOE) + Annual Bonus
