Sales Associate- Chattanooga, TN

This role is located out of our Empire Homes Office in Chattanooga, TN.

About the role

As the Sales Associate you have a significant role in building relationships with prospective homebuyers. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to provide administrative and sales-related support, representing the appointed communities and the Empire Homes Brand.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Experience preparing reports, presentations, maintaining databases, and managing internal and external communications
• Enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
• Experience working with CRM and ERP platforms
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented
• Working on the weekends may be required

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Sales, or Real Estate
• Experience with Salesforce and NewStar
• Real Estate License is not required; however, a willingness to obtain licensure is preferred
• Previous experience in customer service and/or a sales environment
• Knowledge of sales processes and the homebuilding industry, with the ability to effectively communicate with prospective homebuyers

Responsibilities

• Direct and greet prospective customers and provide tours of our model homes while describing features and soliciting customer feedback
• Enter all walk-in traffic into the CRM system on the same day of visit
• Serve as a resource for customers, helping solve problems, educate, and add value throughout the purchase process
• Create authentic relationships to understand and meet customer needs, aligned to Empire’s ICARE values and upholds our promises to the customer
• Provide assistance to Sales Consultants in following up with customers and prospective buyers, and processing and preparing contracts for customers’ signatures
• Participate in marketing initiatives by providing support on all marketing collateral including price sheets, MLS and website in each community
• Assist in the maintenance of our Sales Centers, Show Homes, and Models appearance and presentation, including cleaning and monitoring any maintenance needs
• Deliver transparent communication and positively collaborate with all teams to create a cohesive experience for the customer
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the housing industry, market trends, and competitive offerings to support customers as a subject matter expert
