About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves a variety of selling and customer service activities, including greeting customers promptly and professionally, handling merchandise carefully, and providing necessary information and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers.
• Replenishes product on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintains product expertise through ongoing training.
• Remains informed about advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing and signage.
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restocks merchandise as needed.
• Keeps the work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Fulfills all company policies and procedures.
• Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions through identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable about product and able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Proficiency in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system.
