Responsibilities

• Greet clients and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
• Assess clients' skin types and determine appropriate tanning equipment and lotion for their needs.
• Explain the tanning process, including proper positioning and safety guidelines, and answer client questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized tanning area, ensuring equipment is in good working order and supplies are well-stocked.
• Upsell tanning lotions and other products based on individual client needs and preferences.
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high levels of professionalism and customer service.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client information, including tanning history and preferences, for a personalized experience.
• Open and close the tanning salon on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in customer service or sales is highly preferred.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand, bend, and work for long periods of time.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales experience (preferred).
• 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individuals passionate about the tanning industry.

Pay

$16.50 per hour + uncapped commission and bonuses.

Schedule

Part-time, onsite in Perinton, NY. Requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
