About the role

World Market is seeking individuals who share our passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences. As a team member, you will be responsible for:

• Sharing your knowledge of our products with customers to help them find the perfect items.
• Checking out customers for in-store and buy-online-pick-up-in-store purchases.
• Maintaining merchandising, pricing, signing, and sales floor standards.
• Processing freight and assisting with truck unloads as needed.
• Contributing to a safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Share your passion and knowledge for our products and help customers find the perfect “anything”.
• Checkout customer in store and buy online pick up in store purchases.
• Maintain merchandising, pricing, signing and sales floor replenishment standards.
• Participate in processing freight and truck unload as needed.
• Contribute to a safe shopping environment.

Requirements

Minimum Age 16 years.

• A can-do attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative, open-minded, adaptable, honest, and respectful culture.
• Retail experience a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to initiate a conversation.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

Full-time and part-time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service.
