Wild Birds Unlimited is a franchise system of retail stores specializing in backyard nature and birding products. Each location is independently owned and operated.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Sales Associate with a passion for nature to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail setting providing excellent customer service, a desire to learn, and a team-player mentality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service: greet and assist customers, and provide expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products (training provided).
• Consistently lift 20-50 lbs.
• Work in a fast-paced setting and spend extended periods on your feet.
• Use a computer-based POS system (training provided).

Requirements

• Interest in the backyard bird feeding hobby or nature is preferred but not required (training provided).
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 20-50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and busy sales periods.
