Wild Birds Unlimited is a franchise system of retail stores specializing in backyard nature products. Each location is independently owned and operated.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Sales Associate with a passion for nature to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fun, positive environment, deliver high-energy customer service, and enjoy helping customers with bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on bird feeding, birdwatching, and nature-related products.
• Operate a computer-based POS system (training provided).
• Work in a fast-paced retail setting, spending extended time on your feet.
• Consistently lift and carry 20–50 lbs.

Requirements

• Interest in backyard bird feeding or nature (training provided).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20–50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including closing shifts, weekends, and holiday periods.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

Store hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Schedule includes closing shifts, weekends, and holiday periods.
