Sales Associate

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a part-time Sales Associate in Maddock, ND.

About the role

Provide excellent customer service by completing sales transactions in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner. Maintain clean, appropriately stocked, and well-presented merchandise displays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to build loyalty and repeat business.
• Champion Thrifty White programs such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx; assist with patient enrollment.
• Direct customers to merchandise locations and use suggestive selling techniques to promote sales.
• Stock, clean, sort, price, and maintain POS labels; rotate and "front and face" merchandise for a pleasant store appearance.
• Implement planograms accurately and timely.
• Maintain endcaps using promotional items, overstocked merchandise, and high-profit items.
• Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and adapt to modified job responsibilities as required.
• Assist anywhere in the store as needed.
• Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality to fulfill essential job functions.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Helpful to have communications or public relations coursework.
• Preferred: one year of experience in a similar position requiring sales and service skills.
