About the role

The Tile Shop, founded in 1985, inspires and realizes home decor ideas with a global selection of high-quality tile products, exclusive designs, and expert customer service. Associates travel worldwide to source materials such as porcelain, glass, ceramic, travertine, and natural stones, serving customers across more than 140 stores.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers professionally and develop lasting relationships through courteous service.
• Conduct follow-up customer communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Sell tile and related products, exceeding customer expectations through product knowledge and education.
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers effectively.
• Track and meet established individual sales goals.
• Monitor store orders and provide customers with product updates.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationships.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment.
• Open to learning independently and incorporating feedback for growth.
• Ability to work under high pressure, multitask, and stay detail-oriented.
• Sense of design, including familiarity with various styles, colors, and textures.
• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.

Pay

Expected first-year earnings range from $45,000 to $75,000, structured as a draw plus commission.
