Sales Associate

About the role

The Tile Shop is looking for a motivated sales associate to join our team. You’ll help customers bring their home decor visions to life by offering expert advice, building relationships, and driving sales in a commission-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers in a professional manner
• Develop lasting customer relationships through courteous and attentive service
• Conduct follow-up communication with customers
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
• Track and meet established individual sales goals
• Monitor store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment
• Openness to learning and growing independently and from feedback
• Ability to work well under high pressure and multitask effectively
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Sense of design, including knowledge of various styles, colors, and textures
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English

Pay

Expected first-year earnings range from $45,000 to $75,000, based on a draw plus commission payment structure.
