Sales Associate

About the role

The Tile Shop is looking for a motivated sales associate to join our team. You’ll help customers bring their home decor visions to life by selling tile and related products, providing expert advice, and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers in a professional manner
• Develop and maintain lasting customer relationships through courteous service
• Conduct follow-up customer communication
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
• Educate customers on product installation and usage
• Understand and track individual sales goals
• Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment
• Openness to learning and growing independently and from feedback
• Ability to work well under high pressure and multitask effectively
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Sense of design, including knowledge of styles, colors, and textures
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English

Pay

Expected first-year earnings range from $45,000 to $75,000 in a draw plus commission payment structure.
