Sales Associate

About the role

The Tile Shop is looking for a motivated sales associate to join our team. You’ll help customers bring their home decor visions to life by selling tile and related products, providing expert advice, and building lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers in a professional manner
• Develop lasting customer relationships through courteous and attentive service
• Conduct follow-up customer communication
• Sell tile and related products to exceed customer expectations
• Understand installation and use of all products to educate customers
• Understand and track established individual sales goals
• Track store orders and provide customers with product updates
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commission-based sales environment
• Openness to learning and growing independently and from feedback
• Ability to work well under high pressure and multitask effectively
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Sense of design, including familiarity with various styles, colors, and textures
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English

Pay

Expected first-year earnings range from $45,000 to $75,000 under a draw plus commission payment structure.
