JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for NAPA’s retail and wholesale customers. A person in this position is responsible for ensuring sales by determining customers' needs, assisting in securing necessary parts, maintaining personal and store image, and ensuring customers receive a good experience.

DUTIES

• Build good relationships with NAPA customers
• Greet customers and demonstrate ability to quickly understand needs
• Secure correct parts and resolving issues for customers
• Maintain appearance of store and displays
• Assist in receiving/stocking incoming merchandise

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Previous retail sales experience preferred
• GED preferred
• Capable of operating point-of-sale system and cataloging
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy as well as ability to multi-task and is self-motivated

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift
• Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds
• Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids
• Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively

COMPENSATION

$16.00 per hour
