Sales Associate

The Sales Associate serves as a key customer contact, assisting with merchandise selection, operating the cash register, stocking, and store upkeep to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Include Providing excellent customer service, greeting and assisting customers.Operating cash register, processing transactions, and handling merchandise.Following merchandise procedures: unpacking, stocking, and creating displays.Maintaining store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and setting up displays. Qualifications & Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of safety policies and basic cash handling procedures.Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.Basic math skills and ability to perform cash register functions.Ability to stock merchandise and handle equipment such as scanners and carts. Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Work Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds; occasional climbing; fast-paced environment with moderate noise; exposure to weather conditions.
