Sales Associate

About the Role

Lead other team members by example in accuracy and completeness of work while meeting sales and work goals set by store management. Control cash, maintain accuracy of sales transactions, and process all sales and POS terminal transactions according to company policy. Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and adherence to company service standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an excellent shopping experience for customers through awareness and company service standards.
• Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of all current sales promotions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, ensuring stock is well arranged and properly merchandised.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all store areas.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Monitor Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
• Participate in physical inventories, shipping and receiving merchandise, and merchandise placement on the sales floor.
• Process all sales and POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure, including checking shoes for mates.

Requirements

• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers and employees at all levels.
• Basic communication (verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
• Experience in retail sales, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Basic visual merchandising skills and understanding of Store Presentation Standards.

Pay

$10.00 - $11.50 hourly.
