Sales Associate

About the Role

Lead other team members by example in accuracy and completeness of work while meeting sales and operational goals set by store management. Control cash, process transactions, and maintain strict accuracy of all sales documentation. Create an excellent shopping experience through adherence to company service standards and a positive, well-informed attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by following company service standards.
• Promote company rewards programs and other business initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of current sales promotions and ensure merchandise is well-presented.
• Keep stock arranged, merchandised, and the store clean and organized.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge and fitting skills.
• Monitor Loss Prevention concerns involving customers and staff.
• Participate in physical inventories, shipping/receiving, and merchandise placement.
• Process all sales and POS transactions according to policy, including checking shoes for mates.

Requirements

• Interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and employees at all levels.
• Basic communication (verbal and non-verbal), organization, and math skills.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail or footwear.
• Understanding of store policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.

$10.00 - $11.50 hourly.
