Sales Associate

About the role

Piazza Produce is a company that delivers a wide range of locally sourced produce, specialty items, and more to over 150 surrounding cities including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, and Michigan. We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming orders for customers
• Answer inquiries and questions
• Handle and resolve customer complaints
• Enter customer information
• Process orders and forms
• Identify and escalate priority issues
• Route calls to appropriate resource
• Follow up customer calls when necessary
• Sell additional products by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts
• Present new or additional featured products to customers

Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1 year successful experience performing the above duties
• Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office, produce industry software (or equivalent), and common email systems

Pay

$18.00+/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

Sunday – Friday (Off Tuesdays and Saturdays) 2:00pm – 10:00pm
