Responsibilities

• Pet First - Protect & Empower: Support the health, safety, and proper care of all animals in accordance with Petco policies and standards.
• Foster the Fun - Connect & Bond: Greet customers, provide friendly and helpful service, and create positive shopping experiences.
• Let's Go! - Own & Commit: Assist customers in selecting products and services that meet their pets' needs, process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately, and support store operations.

Requirements

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• A passion for animals and pet care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and transactions.
• Attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, purpose-driven retail environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00 per hour, with a start rate of $16.90. The actual pay rate will depend on various factors including position, location, level of experience, and applicable state or local minimum wage laws.

Schedule

Regular availability to support Petco's operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
