Safety

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Basic Job Functions

• Generating various daily/weekly/monthly sales & marketing reports
• Processing customer orders
• Dispatching shipments
• Maintaining inventory
• Maintaining pricing
• Approving billing
• Providing customer support as needed
• Assisting sales team wherever workload demands
• Maintaining/ordering office supplies
• Organizing customer visits
• Answering incoming phone calls for the sales department

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office
• 4-year Degree in Business, Marketing or related study, or 12 months of steel related experience
• Able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Flat Rolled Steel knowledge
• Customer service experience
