Sales Associate
About the role
The primary function of the Sales Associate is field level sales support. The Sales Associate will work with the Regional Managers in their geography under the direction of the Regional Director. The Sales Associate will support the Regional Managers dealers and end users by conducting equipment demonstrations, equipment use and care training, site surveys, assist in supporting trade shows and open houses, and assist the Regional Director in other business critical functions.
Responsibilities
- Equipment Demonstrations for dealers and/or end users
- Equipment Use and Care Training for dealers and/or end users
- Site Surveys for dealers and/or end users
- Support Trade Shows and Open Houses for dealers and/or end users
- Prepare, manage, and be responsible for demo equipment inventory
- Participate in Nilfisk UPlan 2 weeks in advance and execute call plan and activities in Salesforce.com
- Be able to work in a team environment
- Participate in weekly 1 on 1’s with Regional Director to measure call plan, execution of the call plan and other sales support activities
- Absorb and execute other business critical functions as directed by the Regional Director
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education
- Experience: Entry level sales role. All experience levels are welcome
Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, have good business acumen and self-discipline
- Must display enthusiasm, perseverance, reliability, ethical standards, and strong selling skills
- Must possess strong communication skills and maintain usual management skills of time, ability to respond, sense of urgency, prioritize efforts and problem solving
- Willingness to travel overnight on an occasional basis
- Must be able to successfully pass a physical including lifting, standing for prolonged periods, driving for safe periods of time, etc.
Skills
- Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
- Proficiency in use of Salesforce.com (web and mobile versions)

Pay
$67,900.00-$84,850.00
Schedule
The estimated pay range indicates the expected annualized pay range for this position. It may not include potential bonus incentives such as annual bonus’ as well as sales and sales related incentives, or overtime (on eligible positions). The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location.
