Responsibilities

• Cultivate existing customer relationships and build new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Aid patients in selecting frames and coordinating frames with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the optician as needed.
• Participate and contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff (Target Host partners).
• Show pride in the appearance of the store and take initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators with basic phone and math skills
• Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to multi-task; ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment

Pay

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
