About the role

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters location. This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
• Actively contribute to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain store appearance by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong sales skills with a desire to meet goals and accountability for sales results.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment.

Pay

Pay range: $16.07 - $22.48 per hour. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan.
