About the Role

Kid to Kid is looking for a fun and friendly associate to cashier and process incoming product, as well as maintain an organized, upscale store. This person will have the opportunity to move up to a position determining which incoming items should be accepted into the store and appraising them. The role is available full or part time and requires weekend availability. For individuals who enjoy shopping and following trends, this can be a very enjoyable job. You’ll work in a small team with significant responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly service in a fun environment.
• Tag, hang, and merchandise products.
• Learn to use new technology.
• Cross-train for various positions and work in other areas of the store as needed.
• Be proactive and act quickly to solve customer concerns.
• Training will be hands-on.

Requirements

• Fast-paced and able to multitask effectively.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Knowledgeable about kids' fashion (preferred).
• Stay organized and knowledgeable about products.
• Willingness to help others and adapt to changing tasks.
• Ability to appraise items for resale, including understanding current trends in colors, patterns, and fabrics from the last couple of years.
