Sales Associate

Overview

J.Jill is a national lifestyle brand that provides apparel, footwear, and accessories. The brand aims to help its customers move through life with ease and celebrate the totality of all women. J.Jill operates over 200 stores nationwide and has a robust ecommerce platform. The brand is headquartered outside Boston.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Aid customers in finding the perfect products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill’s merchandise to offer expert guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and floor set execution, and participate in all operational functions.
• Work closely with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly and solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to help the store succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing/pulling and maneuvering around store.
• Hang/fold merchandise, ladder climbing, operate POS registers and other company mobile devices.
• Occasionally operate trash compactor (where applicable).
• Occasionally use a hand truck.
• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Able to joint/team lift.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $15.45/Hr. - USD $19.50/Hr.
