Sales Associate

About the role

IT’SUGAR is expanding rapidly with over 100 locations nationwide, aiming to provide a joyful shopping experience. We are seeking a fun and dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by following the IT’SUGARTAINMENT model.
• Set the stage, welcome, engage, entertain, and thank customers.
• Aid customers with requests and inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor while adhering to store visual standards.
• Operate POS/Register to properly cash out customers.
• Maximize store operations by merchandising displays according to visual guidelines.
• Assist in setting up special events and promotions.
• Understand and comply with Loss Prevention (LP) policies and procedures, reporting issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform operational responsibilities such as sales floor/backroom/restroom maintenance, cleaning, mopping, etc.
• Represent core values: IT’S being Positive, Playful, Present, and a Difference Maker.
• Achieve sales goals by following through on customer requests and suggesting additional products.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No retail experience required.
• Optimistic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
• Flexible schedule of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability and willingness to use a POS/Register and operate office equipment.
• Able to walk, stand for long periods, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, lift/move up to 25 lbs independently, and lift/move up to 50 lbs with assistance.
