About the role
As an entry-level Sales Associate / Cashier at Goodwill Industries of Akron, you are the face of our agency! You play a vital role in supporting our mission of providing services to the community. While people love our organized stores and affordable merchandise, they wouldn't keep coming in if it weren't for the exceptional customer service that they experience every single time!
Customer service is always your number one priority—whether serving shoppers or donors. You greet every single person that approaches with your warm smile, no matter how busy you are. You ensure that all customers are made aware of the Elizabeth Clark Fund and ask them to participate as well as sign up or use their Goodwill Club membership. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
