About the Role

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join the team at the Rockingham Park store. This role focuses on delivering an outstanding in-store shopping experience while supporting operational tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, checkout area, fitting rooms, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure associate and customer safety.
• Assist with product launches and changes according to company standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Deliver a great customer experience by adhering to the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to minimize customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, escalating when necessary, and communicate resolutions to store management.
• Drive participation in credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits to customers.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience (minimum 6 months).
• Proficiency in using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with customers, leadership, and associates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well within a team.
