About the Role

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join the team at Mall of Louisiana. The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a great in-store shopping experience while assisting with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and organizing merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Deliver on all aspects of the customer experience model, including processing transactions quickly and accurately to reduce wait times.
• Resolve customer service-related issues positively, escalating when necessary, and communicate resolutions to Store Management.
• Drive participation in credit and loyalty member programs by explaining benefits and encouraging customer enrollment.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant job experience (minimum 6 months).
• Proficient in the use of technology (e.g., iPad, registers).
• Must meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Must meet physical requirements of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact effectively with customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, leadership, and team members.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
