About the Role
As a key member of the Regen business unit, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. The Enovis Regeneration business unit focuses on helping patients heal through innovative bone growth stimulation therapies, proven technology, and clinical expertise.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking for a service role leading to a career in sales. The Sales Associate learns the ropes, assists in sales growth, and works with the Senior Territory Manager, Patient Care Services (PCS) Representatives, and doctors' offices to facilitate efficient insurance authorizations and placements for DJO’s products.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Territory Manager in all aspects of the sales call pattern, including covering accounts, promoting products, managing inventory, and converting customers to DJO.
- Serve as the primary backup contact for Territory Manager(s) and keep them informed of all sales-related activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory.
- Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling to ensure proper coverage of patient appointments and physician/clinician calls.
- Assist the Territory Manager in identifying and qualifying potential sales leads and introduce the Company’s products to potential customers.
- Cultivate customer relationships by initiating contact with surgeons, physicians, therapists, and other device users.
- Partner with Territory Manager(s) on inventory management and building proper inventory levels to meet customer needs.
- Tailor DJO’s promotional message based on product knowledge, advise on appropriate product selection, and answer customer questions about product functionality.
- Provide education to patients on the application, use, care, and expected outcomes for CMF products as indicated by physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations.
- Deliver, set up, instruct, and educate patients on the safe and appropriate use of CMF products at medical facilities or private residences.
- Assist with equipment delivery, set-up, follow-up, and service as needed.
- Coordinate, prepare, gather, and submit accurate paperwork required for insurance billing in a timely manner.
- Obtain accurate insurance information for verification and pre-authorization.
- Process all patient documentation daily, ensuring claims are accurate, timely, and fully documented.
- Follow up on all open accounts, maintaining thorough chronological records on each patient account.
- Demonstrate commitment to the DJO Compliance & Ethics Program, the DJO Code of Conduct, the DJO Sales and Marketing Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code of Ethics, and all supporting regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Treat Protected Health Information (PHI) with strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Acquire a basic understanding of regulatory compliance issues and adhere to these guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High proficiency in MS Office required.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related healthcare field preferred.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current automobile insurance.
- Must be able to relocate in the specified geography upon assignment to Territory Manager role.
- Must be willing to remain in the Sales Associate role for a minimum of one year.
- Endorsement and approval of Regional Director and Vice President, Sales is required to move to a Territory Manager role.

Travel Requirements
- Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Considerable time spent traveling in a car.
- Must be willing to travel to various locations upon request, using own transportation. Travel may be routine, scheduled, or change from day to day.
