About the role

ECCO, one of the world’s premier Footwear companies, is seeking a Brand Ambassador / Sales Associate to join its Retail Team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic professional responsible for driving and exceeding store financial goals through providing a World Class shopping experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Drive store financial goals by ensuring a World Class shopping experience for guests.
• Share product knowledge with guests, helping them make informed buying decisions.
• Operate the cash register, managing drawer variances and loss prevention awareness.
• Maintain general housekeeping and assist with various non-selling tasks such as shipment processing, stock counts, and product display maintenance.
• Adhere to ECCO’s policies and procedures, including scheduling, dress code guidelines, and employee handbook.
• Prioritize work, organize tasks, and resolve customer service issues with a positive attitude.
• Model effective selling skills and techniques on the sales floor to represent ECCO.

Requirements

The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize work, superior organizational and follow-up skills, and a positive attitude. They must also be willing to contribute positively to ECCO’s culture of passion, innovation, and sustainability.

Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant retail experience. A background in footwear is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a valid driver’s license are also beneficial.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key. Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles is advantageous.

Pay

$20.29 - $21.29 per hour; Competitive pay based on relevant skills and experience.

Schedule

Hours are flexible and can vary based on store needs. Full-time positions are typically 40 hours per week.
