About the role

Castle Chevy, Elk Grove Village is seeking experienced automotive sales professionals. High earning potential, growth, and development opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers to ensure customer satisfaction by guiding them in their vehicle purchases
• Use excellent communication and listening skills to help customers select the right vehicle and negotiate payment terms
• Drive customer loyalty by following up to ensure their experience is top-notch and help transition customers to the Service Department
• Exhibit consultative selling skills and assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Nurture enriching relationships to build a strong client base
• Know the ins and outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies; perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
• Follow up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
• Overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis

Requirements

• Previous automotive sales experience
• Proven track record of strong performance
• Self-starter mentality and motivation to succeed
• Drive to become a product expert
• Excellent communication skills with customers and team members
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and meet insurability guidelines

Pay

Sales Consultant/ Salesperson: $60K-$100K
Compensation will be based on performance and experience; pay ranges may vary from the displayed amounts
