About the role

Casa de Montecristo seeks a Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at one of our multiple locations in the United States. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide an exceptional cigar experience while building strong guest relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong guest relationships and deliver operational excellence as part of a high-performing team.
• Provide exemplary service and selling skills in the humidor and smoking lounges.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, proactively communicating product features and benefits, and promotional information.
• Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results, becoming a trusted and successful tobacconist.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Casa de Montecristo products.
• Assist in the complete operations of the store, executing corporate initiatives in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain visual and cleanliness standards to support the brand image.
• Ensure a comfortable, responsible, and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or other service-centric environment.
• POS and/or computer skills are needed.
• Cigar knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, hands-on team player with a strong work ethic.
• A track record of meeting challenging sales and operational goals.
• Demonstrated flexibility and emotional intelligence to adapt to a frequently changing business conditions with energy and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
