Pay
Base pay up to $15.00/hr. The pay listed for this position may vary based on experience. Compensation decisions consider training, experience, work location, required travel, and external market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Be part of a team within various departments: Agriculture, Pet, Lawn & Garden, Seasonal, Automotive, Food & Beverage, Clothing, Footwear, Tools, Hardware, Housewares, Sporting Goods, Plumbing, Paint, and Electrical
- Engage with customers in a fun, friendly, and rewarding team environment
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and friendly attitude toward customers and the Blain’s team
- Assist customers in finding quality products
- Create a welcoming shopping atmosphere through cleanliness, product presentation, and accurate signage
- Support company initiatives, including Blain Rewards Program sign-ups, Associate Referrals, and Recognition Program
- Provide solutions that ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
- Maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Great communication skills
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Able to pass a background check
