About the Role
The Beauty Advisor/Sales Associate will create a memorable shopping experience for customers by assisting them with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, nails, and more. You’ll bring your passion and personality, while we provide the knowledge and training to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and inspire customer loyalty.
- Recommend additional and complementary products.
- Inform customers of current promotions and events.
- Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales.
- Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
- Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
- Demonstrate Sally Beauty’s Culture Values.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
- May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
Working Conditions
- Long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, or reaching.
- Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
- Working around moving parts, carts, or machines.
- Occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
